Why Obama's Health Care Won't Work.

Call it a mandate or call it a tax, when or if inflation begins, the priorities change in every household.
Many people are living each month from check to check. If a family budget is stretched as far as it goes, most of the pay will have to go towards the rent and or mortgage, gas, and food. The order of these things may vary form budget to budget.
Having said this, to force a family budget to pay for healthcare in the same priority as their rent and food.
I stand corrected but I am assuming that The IRS, whom is keeping track of the mandate, will issue a fine for not purchasing healthcare. This fine, if it is treated as any fee due to The IRS, may start to incur late fees on unpaid fees. This may end up sending families into the downward spiral that people cannot pay overdue taxes.
Now I am assuming that what I am saying is correct. I can't really say what are the actual consequences of not buying or incurring late fees to people who are unable
to pay for the new tax eehemm mandat. This is because I am not a lawyer. I cannot interpret the law to see how it can apply to late payments on healthcare fines. Also, like most Americans, politicians included, have never read what's in the bill.
But, I am still giving the benefit of the doubt that the healthcare reform is good. Nancy Pelosi promised me that I would like it when it passed through the house and signed by the president. And I use that word passed in very loose terms.
.
But there is a huge group of people in this country that do not have healthcare insurance. In a capitalistic country, there is a lot of money to be made out of the millions with out health care. With the lack of funding from the government and the lack of patients, I have a feeling there will be a cost adjustment coming. The health care providers, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance companies will come up with something amazing affordable for more people. This is how capitalism works.
This is why the government needs to take it's hands off the healthcare industry. Last time there was a healthcare crisis they came up with the HMO.But the HMO would never have been feasible nor would have any incentive to be created had the government tried to spend it's way out of the healthcare situation.
Its surprising what may happen when the healthcare industry begins to feel the pain of lack of funding, and the lack of people that can afford their services.
Look for privatized health care clinics, and an adjustments to the generic drug laws. Speculation on my part. But big markets and profit makes for happy endings in our country.
On that note, maybe I might begin to stop scratching my head to figure how the government will be able to pay the millions of people who don't have health insurance. The country can't even provide health care for the senior citizens without going bankrupt?????
